Singapore: Singapore recorded 1.31 million visitor arrivals in October, marking a 16.7 percent increase compared to the same month last year. The data, which was recently released by the Singapore Tourism Board, highlights a significant rise in the number of international visitors to the city-state.

According to Namibia Press Agency, over 367,000 of these visitors stayed overnight in Singapore during October. However, this number represents a 58.4 percent decrease compared to the previous year. The average duration of stay for overnight guests was three days, reflecting a 15.5 percent decline from last year.

The statistics also revealed that the Chinese mainland remained the top source of visitors, contributing over 234,000 travelers. Other major sources included Indonesia, Malaysia, India, and Australia, underscoring the diverse origins of Singapore’s international visitors.
