Seven African Nations Among Top Economic Performers in 2024, Says IMF


Seven African countries have been ranked among the top ten in the world for economic growth in the year 2024. This remarkable achievement highlights the dynamic economic progress occurring across the continent.



According to Africa News Agency, The IMF report identifies Niger as leading the group with an impressive growth rate of 11.1%. It is followed by Senegal at 8.8%, Libya at 7.5%, Rwanda at 7%, Ivory Coast at 6.6%, Burkina Faso at 6.4%, and Benin at 6.3%. These statistics reflect a significant stride in economic development for these nations, signaling a positive trend in the African continent’s overall economic landscape.
