Second round of the BAC: 30.89% success rate for the juries of the Lycée Marien N’Gouabi

The results of the second round of the 2023 Baccalaureate were announced on July 5, 2023. At the Lycée Marien N´Gouabi in Ouagadougou, there were 76 admitted out of the 246 candidates who took part in the this final stage of the review.

Within juries 105 and 106, located in the composition center of Marien N´Gouabi high school, scenes of intense emotion were observed. Around 11 a.m., after the traditional formula “candidates approach!” », the results of the second round have been revealed.

As each candidate was placed on his final fate, the atmosphere was gradually composed of scenes of joy and pain.

But there was more pain than joy for this stage. Indeed, the president of the center, Mamadou Salambéré, revealed that of the 246 candidates registered for the second round in the two juries, 76 were received.

“In jury 105, we had 33 admitted, including 26 boys and 7 girls, and in jury 106, 36 admitted out of 59 candidates presented, including 31 boys and 5 girls. The number of postponements stands at 170, representing a failure rate of 69.11%,” he explained.

By deduction of the failure rate, we obtain a success rate of 30.89%. “I will call my father who is in Djibo. He sent me here so that I could build my future. If he hears me, he will be proud of me, because the situation in Djibo is difficult, it will soothe his heart! Exclaimed Tamboura Hassan, a happy admitted to BAC F4 and internally displaced.

Farid Kokobi Laurène, candidate from the Kadiogo polytechnic high school, will not say the opposite. She thanks the good Lord for having obtained her Bac F4. “For those who didn’t make it, may God make it easy for next year. »

Thus ends the Technical Baccalaureate exam for the 2023 session, which took place on June 20, 2023. Mamadou Salambéré sent his encouragement to the unsuccessful candidates in view of the resumption of classes during the next school year.
