According to Burkina Information Agency, the inauguration of the tomato processing plant took place on Saturday. Built through popular shareholding, this plant marks a significant milestone. During the event, Captain Ibrahim Traoré praised the workers for their efforts and encouraged them to maintain exemplary operations within the factory. His call to action aims to generate enthusiasm among the Burkinabè population to actively participate in the popular shareholding program.
The Bobo-Dioulasso tomato processing plant stands as the first enterprise launched under the Agency for the Promotion of Community Entrepreneurship (APE
C), established in February 2023. This initiative is seen as a pivotal step toward enhancing local economic activities and community involvement in Burkina Faso.
