President of Faso Encourages Students to Embrace National Values at Marie-Gabrielle-Choulet School Complex.

Bobo-Dioulasso: Present in the economic capital of Burkina Faso, as part of the inauguration of the tomato processing plant, the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, received the visit of the students of the Marie-Gabrielle-Choulet school complex. The school complex, which includes both primary and secondary education, is situated near the President’s residence.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the students came to express their admiration and congratulations to the Head of State for his efforts in reclaiming the national territory and fostering the development of the country. Rahinatou Olivia DABOU, a 5th grade student and spokesperson for the group, reiterated their support for the President’s actions in enhancing education and improving the welfare of children. She highlighted the school’s engagement in practical activities such as livestock breeding and sewing, and presented the President with gifts, including a rooster and a Faso Danfani woven loincloth, as tokens of their productivity.

he President expressed his pride in the students’ achievements and their adoption of good neighborly values instilled by their educators. He commended their involvement in practical activities alongside traditional coursework and emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting a blend of theoretical and practical education. Captain TRAORE urged the students to maintain discipline, excel in their work, respect their teachers, and uphold the values foundational to the Burkinabe nation. He specifically encouraged them to understand the deep meaning of the national anthem, Ditanyè, as a means of nurturing patriotism.

The Head of State assured the students that efforts would continue to ensure they thrive in a peaceful, united, and prosperous Burkina Faso, with a healthy environment.
