Mushelenga Initiates National Symbols Awareness in Hardap Region

WINDHOEK:The National Symbols Campaign’s regional activation was launched in the Hardap Region by Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Peya Mushelenga on Wednesday. During the launch, Mushelenga emphasized the importance of understanding, respecting, and honoring the protocols associated with Namibia’s national symbols, with special attention to the national flag and anthem.

Mushelenga commented on the profound significance of national symbols, stating, “Our national flag narrates the tale of the country’s sea, its lush greenery, the prevailing peace amongst its citizens, and the valiant efforts of our ancestors in their struggle. Such symbols, when understood, instill a sense of pride in our history, fostering patriotism amongst the newer generations.”
