Nine Dead, Seventeen Injured in Bus Collision Near PS

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso – A severe accident involving two interurban transport buses occurred at the exit of PS in the West, resulting in nine fatalities and seventeen injuries, including eight critically wounded. This incident took place on Saturday afternoon, leading to a significant disruption in traffic.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the collision involved a coach from a regular company and a transport mini-bus. The on-site assessment by the AIB revealed the extent of the casualties and injuries from this tragic event.

The victims of the accident were promptly evacuated to the CMA of Boromo, with the assistance of firefighters and the gendarmerie who were dispatched to the accident site. The collision caused substantial traffic delays, with dozens of transport buses halting at the collision site. The incident also attracted a large number of people to the scene.
