NOUNBIEL: Hendrix Dayvis Sankara has officially taken on his new role as the Provincial Director of Basic Education in Noumbiel. The installation ceremony was conducted by Drissa HEMA, the province’s High Commissioner, with various provincial bodies in attendance.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Sankara was appointed to the position by the Council of Ministers on October 2, 2024. He is an inspector of primary education and succeeds Parfait Hien, who served as the School and University Administration Advisor for over eight years. During the ceremony, Sankara expressed gratitude to his predecessor, referring to him as a “Baobab” and sought the cooperation of his colleagues to continue the work in the education sector.
