Burkinabè Army Drones Strike Terrorist Hideouts in Touka and Korno

OUAGADOUGOU — Drones from the Burkinabè army targeted two buildings in Touka and Korno in the Sahel region this Sunday, resulting in multiple terrorist casualties, according to security sources.

According to a new release by Burkina Information Agency, the Burkinabè army remained vigilant in the area after inflicting heavy casualties on terrorists in Touka on October 27. Early on Sunday, October 29, 2023, air vectors detected criminal activity near Touka. A group of terrorists that had congregated in a building in Mdiomga was neutralized by a precision airstrike.

Similarly, in the hamlet of Korno, another assembly of terrorists who had taken shelter in a building were also targeted and neutralized by drone strikes. According to the same sources, ongoing operations aim to restore peace and security in the region.
