Morocco Receives $500 Million Loan from World Bank for Social, Health Reforms

Rabat – The World Bank has approved a new $500 million loan to support Morocco’s health and social protection reforms. This loan is part of the World Bank’s commitment to assist Morocco in enhancing its social and health sectors.

According to Africa News Agency, the World Bank detailed that the loan aims to improve the protection of vulnerable populations against health and climate risks. Additionally, it is intended to strengthen resilience against catastrophic events. The press release also highlighted that this budget forms the second of a series of three operations supporting Morocco’s reform program.
