Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to visit Serbia (Belgrade, 03.06.2022)

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will visit Serbia tomorrow, June 3, where he is expected to meet with high-ranking Serbian officials, in the context of his tour of the Western Balkans, ahead of the South East Europe Cooperation Process (SEECP) Summit.

In particular, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will be received by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

Subsequently, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will hold a one-on-one meeting with his Serbian counterpart, Nikola Selakovic, followed by expanded talks between the two delegations.

Joint statements to the press will be made at approximately 10:00 (local time).

The Minister of Foreign Affairs will then meet with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia, Ivica Dacic.

In addition to preparations for the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) Summit, emphasis is expected to be placed on the European perspective of the Western Balkans, security and stability in the region, further strengthening of bilateral relations in all areas, as well as on broader regional developments, including the situation in Ukraine following the Russian invasion.
