Woman nabbed for possession of drugs in Allanridge

A 55-year-old woman is expected to appear in Odendaalsrus Magistrate’s Court for possession of drugs after she was arrested this morning at about 11:00 in Nyakallong, Allanridge.

Members of SAPS Welkom K9 Unit were busy with their routine duties when they followed up on information about a woman selling drugs in Nyakallong.

The residence of the suspect was identified, approached and searched by SAPS members. During the search, 30 packets of Crystal Meth drugs with an estimated street value of R9 000-00 were found and seized. The woman was arrested for possession of drugs and will appear on 26 June 2023 in Odendaalsrus Magistrate Court.
