Greece is present in Odessa. I am here today, representing the Greek Government, the Mitsotakis government, but I believe, the whole of Greek society as well, in order to deliver, first of all, here in Odessa, humanitarian aid for the Greek Diaspora, but also for the entire population of the city.
From today on, the Greek Consulate will be operating again. And I would like to thank the Consul, Mr. Dochtsis, and his associates for doing their duty and the way they perform it. The operation of the Consulate will facilitate in the distribution of humanitarian aid and the creation of corridors for the evacuation of Diaspora Greeks, if deemed necessary, from any part of Ukraine via Odessa. It will also highlight our historic presence in this city.
