Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, engaged with the Orientation Council of the Commission for the Regulation of Dysfunctions (CRD) on Monday. This meeting marks a significant step in the nation’s ongoing battle against corruption.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the audience was attended by Ragnang-newindé Isidore TIEMTORE, Special Advisor to the President of Faso, who emphasized that the gathering follows the official installation of the Orientation Council members on October 26. During the meeting, President TRAORE outlined his expectations and reiterated his vision for a corruption-free Burkina Faso, emphasizing the detrimental impact of corruption on the country’s development efforts.
TIEMTORE conveyed the President’s call to be “VDPs for behavioral change,” highlighting the need for action over rhetoric. “The change in mentality must not be limited to empty speeches but must be translated into actions. It is together that we will make Burkina Faso a country where life
is good,” he stated, underscoring the collective effort required to bring about meaningful change.
The CRD, established by the Council of Ministers on July 24, 2024, and operating under the Office of the Head of State, is tasked with addressing dysfunctions in public administrations and overseeing the enforcement of judicial and administrative sanctions.
