According to Africa News Agency, Principal Secretary of the Department of State for Investment Promotion, the inclusion of Chinese investors is critical. With their advanced technologies and expertise, Chinese investors are expected to play a key role in helping Kenya manufacture globally competitive products. The focus areas for this industrial enhancement include textiles, electronics, agribusiness, and leather. This initiative is part of Kenya’s broader vision to establish itself as the industrial hub of Africa, with an emphasis on meeting local demand and boosting economic growth through industrialization.
