Kenya Airways Announces Revival of Eldoret Route with New Weekly Flights

ELDORET, Kenya — After a decade-long hiatus, Kenya Airways has officially resumed its flight services to Eldoret, marking a significant step in enhancing national and regional connectivity. The inauguration of the new route was celebrated with a ceremony at Eldoret International Airport, attended by notable government officials and Kenya Airways executives.

According to Kenya News Agency, Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen led the ceremony, highlighting the expansion of Kenya’s aviation sector. Eldoret has become the 44th destination on Kenya Airways’ growing network, reflecting the airline’s commitment to fostering accessibility and economic development across the nation.

The resumption of flights to Eldoret is part of a broader government initiative to enhance air transport infrastructure and accessibility within Kenya. Murkomen underscored the recent operational advancements, including the activation of several airstrips and the establishment of new routes from Wilson Airport to various local destinations, which collectively aim to streamline business interactions and travel within the country.
