Comoé says no to the destabilization of the Transition

Civil society organizations in the Cascades region, in particular Planète Jeunes Pan-Africanistes (PJP) and Burkina Rempart, organized a meeting in Banfora on Saturday in support of President Ibrahim TRAORE and the Transition ongoing policy in Burkina Faso in its fight against insecurity and terrorism.

In their appeal and on behalf of the Living Forces of the Cascades region, the leaders of Planète Jeunes Pan-Africanistes (PJP) and Burkina Rempart, say “No to the Machiavellian plans of the enemies of the people; no to the media release of Djibril BASSOLE on the recruitment of VDPs; no to the request to lift the suspension of political activities; no to the actions of ECOWAS, the UN and the international community against the deep aspirations of Burkina Faso”.

Daouda HEMA regional manager of PJP declared that “The forces of the Cascades region, reaffirm to national and international public opinion that it is we who gave legitimacy to Captain Ibrahim TRAORE because we recognize ourselves in the decisions taken by his government.

He invited the population to be ramparts that will defend the country against certain “”treacherous activists”” who threaten national security and the sovereign march of Burkina Faso.

Through the voice of their leaders, the demonstrators say “yes to a new constitution in phase with the new Burkina; yes to popular ownership; yes to national reconciliation MPSR2 format; yes to institutional and political reforms”.

Benjamin ZIRI, head of Burkina Rempart/Cascades called for support for the authorities.

“All forward with the MPSR2 for the patriotic fight and the true independence of our country”.

During this meeting instead of the nation, customary leaders and organizations of society succeeded each other at the podium of the interventions.

They all called for the sacred union to support the Transition and therefore defeat terrorism.

All congratulated and encouraged the FDS and the VDP for the work done.

In addition, all the socio-professional layers who expressed themselves, reaffirmed their “unwavering” support for President Ibrahim TRAORE and his government for the work they do daily. It should be remembered that to combine business with pleasure, the organizers initiated a blood donation operation on the same site, in order to help the FDS and VDP.
