Gourma: A Chadian Nutritionist Draws on the Experience of a Training Center.

Gourma: Chadian nutritionist Rose Ramata Djimadoum visited the Cabinet d’étude notre santé (CNS) in Fada N’Gourma on November 23 and 24, 2024, after discovering it on social networks. During her visit, Djimadoum engaged with the center, having previously completed several online training courses offered there.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Ms. Djimadoum has earned 13 certificates in various fields including emergency washing, establishing NGOs and cooperatives, as well as mental health and psychosocial support in humanitarian emergencies. Her extensive qualifications have opened doors to various opportunities in both the public sector and NGOs within Chad.

Djimadoum cited the professionalism, technical expertise, and altruistic nature of the CNS staff as key factors in her decision to travel from N’Djamena to Fada N’Gourma. She expressed a desire to replicate the successes of the CNS by establishing a similar training center in Chad.

Djimadoum also encouraged young people in Burkina Faso to trus
t the training offered by CNS, emphasizing the potential benefits such training could bring to their career prospects.

The Cabinet d’étude notre santé, which began operations on October 1, 2021, in Fada N’Gourma, is an international training center offering a range of programs. These include humanitarian project management, stress management, and job search techniques, among others.

The center has trained thousands of young individuals through certified courses and consulting services, both in-person and online. It operates in 12 French-speaking African countries, with regional focal points and national representatives in each location.
