Cable car and tourist village project takes centre stage at working session in Zaghouan governorate

A working session held Friday at the headquarters of the governorate of Zaghouan discussed the cable car project and tourist villages in Jebel Zaghouan. The session focused on various aspects related to the technical, administrative, and financial reports of the project, which will be carried out by the Arab-African Company for Investment and Development (AACID) with a total budget of 3 million dinars.

During the session, representative of AACID Jamel Guesmi outlined the components of the project, which consist of the construction of three tourist villages at the foot of Jebel Zaghouan, connected to the cable car and include individual residences with a specific architectural style. Additionally, the project provides for the construction of an opera hall meeting with international standards, an electric power station, and a water treatment facility.

Governor of Zaghouan Mohamed El Euch said investors are willing to fully engage in the project, starting with the preparation of the preliminary study and its submission to the steering committee at the regional council.
