Kaya: The Empow’Her network organized, on Thursday, a financing fair called Financ’Elle, under the theme: “The resilience of women entrepreneurs in the face of the security situation: roles of support actors”. The financing fair, Financ’Elle, organized by the Empow’Her network on November 21, 2024, in the city of leathers and skins, was marked, among other things, by a panel, B2B meetings, and product exhibitions.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the project manager, Karine Ouave, stated that the activity aims to facilitate the access of cooperatives to financing and the market, through the creation of a networking framework with key players in the world of finance and the restaurant value chain. “It is also a showcase for exchanges allowing cooperatives to obtain information on the different financing opportunities available in Kaya and Kongoussi, and above all to establish partnerships with customers and suppliers,” she added.
Karine Ouave specified that this exchange meeting is part of the implem

Most of the participants expressed their satisfaction with the holding of this fair. For them, it is a framework for sharing that further encourages microfinance institutions to support women entrepreneurs. The president of the Economic and Financial Affairs Commission of the commune of Kaya, Souleiman Soré, also welcomed the initiative of Empow’Her. For him, this conclave represents an opportunity for women to join the dynamics of the Special Delegation of the commune, with a view to promoting their financial autonomy.
“Today, you will have the maximum amount of information on the different forms of credit available in this commune and, possibly, on the financing methods,” he said. According to Karine Ouave, Empow’Her is an international network
