OUAGADOUGOU — An announcement was made regarding the organization of a photovoltaic certification exam on the 2iE campus in Ouagadougou, scheduled from December 4 to 7, 2023, offering an opportunity for photovoltaic installers to gain certification recognized across all ECOWAS Member States.

According to Burkina Information Agency, in partnership with the National Agency for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ANEREE) and the International Institute of Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE), the certification provides numerous benefits. The certified photovoltaic installers will be acknowledged for their expertise, gain career advancement opportunities, contribute to sustainable energy solutions, network with industry professionals, and enjoy recognition across ECOWAS nations. The registration for this exam is open until November 11, 2023, and it aims to enhance the quality and standardization of photovoltaic installations within the region.
