Eastern Region Governor Honors Sacrifice of Fallen Soldiers in Fada N’Gourma

FADA N’GOURMA – In a solemn ceremony held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, Colonel Hubert Yaméogo, the governor of the Eastern region, commemorated soldiers who lost their lives in the ongoing battle against terrorism and criminal banditry.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the tribute took place in Fada N’Gourma, where Colonel Yaméogo, alongside Lieutenant-Colonel Eric Dabiré, commander of the 6th military region, laid a wreath of flowers at the martyrs’ monument in the city of Yendabili. This act of remembrance honored the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in 2022 and 2023, affirming their valor in the defense of the nation.
