Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kostas Fragogiannis meets with Minister of Energy of Moldova Victor Parlicov (Athens, 06.04.2023)

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis met today, Thursday, April 6, 2023, with Minister of Energy of Moldova Victor Parlicov, who is currently on a working visit to Athens.

The discussion focused on the prospects for enhancing economic cooperation between Greece and Moldova, with emphasis on energy and renewable resources. The prospects of undertaking joint ventures in the energy sector, aiming at energy sufficiency and independence, were discussed as well.

It is noted that on May 12, 2023, Deputy Minister K. Fragogiannis will travel to Moldova leading a delegation that will participate in the works of the Joint Inter-Ministerial Committee between Greece and Moldova for the promotion of economic and technological cooperation between the two countries.
