Anti-corruption arrest an official for a fraudulent sick note

A female Constable from Selosesha Public Order Policing and her civilian boyfriend, were arrested for fraud in Thaba Nchu.

On the 17 March 2023 Constable submitted a false Doctor’s note allegedly from a private practice where her boyfriend works as an agent for circumcision. Anti-corruption investigation revealed that the sick note was allegedly compiled by her boyfriend who forged the signature of the doctor he was working for.

The accused 31-years-old and her 47-year-old boyfriend were arrested on 27 July 2023 and appeared in the Selosesha magistrate court for forgery and Uttering. They are out on R1000 bail and their case was postponed to 14 August 2023.
