CAMES Ministers to Convene in Congo for Higher Education Summit

Brazzaville – The African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES) will hold its next session of ministers from May 20 to 24, 2024, in the Republic of Congo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Professor Souleymane Konaté, the meeting will address the primary objectives and ongoing projects of the institution. This announcement follows a recent consultation between Professor Konaté and Professor Adjima Thiombiano, the Minister in charge of Higher Education, in Ouagadougou. Konaté expressed satisfaction with the advice received from Minister Thiombiano regarding the organization of this significant meeting. Minister Thiombiano also reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the success of the upcoming event in Brazzaville. CAMES, established in 1968 in Niamey, focuses on enhancing cooperation and standardizing academic and research systems across its member states.
