Burkinabè Security Forces Neutralize Terrorists and Capture Leader in Balavé

BANWA – In a significant counter-terrorism operation this weekend in the commune of Balavé, the 18th Rapid Intervention Battalion and local defense forces successfully neutralized several terrorists and arrested a key militant leader.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the combined security forces launched a proactive assault across various locales from Solenzo to Masso, and as far as Orowe, recovering numerous weapons, motorcycles, and other materials. The operation also led to the capture of a notorious terrorist leader known for his activities in the region, marking a major setback for terrorist operations in and around Balavé.
