Association for Media Development Enhances AIB’s Digital Capabilities in Ouagadougou

Ouagadougou – The Association for Media Development (ADM) has significantly boosted the digital resources of the Burkina Information Agency (AIB) by donating five computers. This generous gesture took place this Thursday afternoon in Ouagadougou, marking the conclusion of a four-day training session financed by ADM for the benefit of AIB’s journalists and technicians. The president of ADM, Stéphanie Thérèsa Zoungrana, personally handed over the equipment to Aimé Mouorissing Kambiré, the director of AIB.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the importance of digital tools and shared digital training is paramount in the modern digital era. She commended the training participants and expressed her confidence in a media future enhanced by their newly acquired skills and the latest IT equipment. On the other side, Aimé Mouorissing Kambiré, the director of AIB, expressed his gratitude towards the association for both the computers and the quality of training provided. Mr. Kambiré highlighted that the contribution from ADM would address several challenges in equipment and the mastery of technological tools necessary for processing and disseminating information online. He emphasized that the training and new equipment would significantly aid in achieving AIB’s objectives for the year 2024.
