Headline: Burkina Student Association Calls for March to Support Anti-Terrorism Efforts

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso – The Association of Young United Students of Burkina (AJEEUB) announced a peaceful march scheduled for November 11 to support the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) in their fight against terrorism.

According to a new release by Burkina Information Agency, the President of the association, Cheick Amed Tidjane Compaoré, stated that the march aims to bolster the morale of the FDS and the Defense Volunteers for the Homeland (VDP), who are risking their lives to restore the country’s territorial integrity. The association intends to present a draft of reflections on combating terrorism to the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.

Compaoré also reported that AJEEUB has contributed 2 million 25 thousand FCFA towards the peace effort and highlighted various activities carried out by the association, including mineral water distribution for police officers and food collection for displaced persons.
