Minister of Finance meets the Head of IMF digitally

The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Bihi Iman Egeh had an online meeting with the Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the team assigned for the process of debt relief, which is in its final stages. The meeting which took place digitally focused on activities that are a priority for the Ministry of Finance including development and financial reform. The Minister of Finance said that the Ministry is committed to developing the financial sector and strengthening the income of the government and following the system of the Public Finance Management (PFM). Minister Bihi who has recently taken over the Ministry of Finance is focusing on the acceleration of the works ahead.
