Passoré: The new provincial director in charge of primary education, Mahamoudou Kiogo installed

The High Commissioner of Passoré, Laurent K Kontogom officially installed on Tuesday September 26, 2023 in Yako, the new Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Formal Education (DPEPPNF), Mahamoudou Kiogo, in his new functions.

New Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Passoré, Mahamoudou Kiogo officially took office on Tuesday September 26, 2023 in Yako, in the Northern region.

The installation ceremony was chaired by the High Commissioner of the Passoré province, Laurent Kontogom, in the presence of his collaborators, his friends, his parents and his fellow provincial directors and his former collaborators of the Directorate provincial post primary and secondary education (DPEPS) of Passoré.

The new DPEPPNF expressed his gratitude to the Transition authorities for the trust placed in his modest person for this ‘heavy’ responsibility.

Aware of the major challenges awaiting him, Mr. Kiogo called for the support of his colleagues and promised to embody certa
in values such as listening and ‘frank’ and ‘constructive’ dialogue to achieve the expected objectives.

He also requested indulgence, assiduity and a high sense of public service from the staff and all teachers within his territorial jurisdiction.

The outgoing DPEPPNF, Clarisse Jeanne Marie Zoungrana/Kaboré, expressed all her gratitude to her former colleagues for the frank collaboration, dialogue and hard work from which she benefited during her mission.

The high commissioner of the Passoré province, Laurent Kontogom noted that Ms. Zoungrana remains a ‘methodical’ and ‘meticulous’ woman in her work.

He subsequently wished a good career path to the outgoing DPEPPNF who spent 11 months and 26 days at the DPEPPNF of Passoré.

Ms. Zoungrana says she is leaving the city of Naba-Djiguèmdé with the feeling of a mission well accomplished, given the best success rates recorded in the Primary Education Certificate (CEP) during her stay in the Passoré province.

She invited the agents to support the new provincial
director in charge of Primary Education to meet the multiple challenges of the education system.

The DPEPPNF staff representative, Oumarou Gadiaga, hoped that the new provincial director would be a unifier for the smooth running of the provincial management.

Mr. Gadiaga congratulated the outgoing DPEPPNF for her sacrifice, her sense of listening and dialogue during her duties.

As a reminder, Mahamoudou Kiogo was appointed in the Council of Ministers on September 6, as the new provincial director of preschool, primary and formal education in Passoré.

Long before his appointment, Mr. Kiogo was the head of the inclusive education department, girls’ education, gender, promotion of national languages and citizenship, at the DPEPS of Passoré.
