Somalia Extends Congratulations to Turkey on 100th Anniversary of Republic Proclamation

Mogadishu – The government of Somalia has extended its congratulations to Turkey on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Türkiye Republic Proclamation.

According to a news release by the Somali National News Agency, Somalia commended Turkey’s commitment to democracy, development, and nation-building, describing it as an inspiration to all. The statement also acknowledged Turkey’s consistent support for Somalia, beginning with the initiation of the transitional government and continuing through to the present.

The gesture underscores the diplomatic ties and cooperative relationship between Somalia and Turkey, particularly at a moment when Turkey celebrates a significant milestone in its history.
