North West Stream First Division Football Action Continues in Namibia


OPUWO: The Namibia Football Association’s North West Stream First Division is set to continue this weekend, with various matches across Otavi, Grootfontein, Outjo, Oshikuku, and Oshakati. Eleven Warriors, leading the league, will face Young Chiefs FC at Omulunga Stadium in Grootfontein on Saturday, aiming to maintain their undefeated streak. The league’s fifth and sixth rounds will feature 12 clubs vying for a spot in the Namibia Premier League (NPL) next season.



The schedule includes Ongwediva City FC hosting Khuse Lions FC at Uukwangula Stadium and Oshikuku Young Stars FC welcoming Onambula United at the Oshikuku sports field on Saturday. Golden Bees will play against KK Palace at Etoshapoort Stadium in Outjo, while Outjo Football Academy faces African Motto FC at the same venue. Otavi-based Touch and Go FC, looking to escape relegation, will challenge Golden Bigs FC at the Otavi sports field. On Sunday, Ongwediva City FC will compete against Onambula United FC, and Oshikuku Young Stars will host Khuse Lions FC. In a bid to move out of the relegation zone, African Motto will face Golden Bees FC at Etoshapoort Stadium. The top three teams will also face off, with Outjo Football Academy hosting KK Palace, and Touch and Go FC playing against Young Chiefs FC. Eleven Warriors currently lead the standings with 12 points, followed closely by KK Palace.
