Boucle du Mouhoun/School exams session 2023: The regional authorities launch the tests in Dédougou

On Thursday, June 1, 2023, candidates from the Boucle du Mouhoun region began the written tests for the first cycle study certificate (BEPC), the professional study certificate (BEP) and the certificate of professional aptitude (CAP).

They are 16,339 candidates divided into 63 juries and 74 secondary centers. It was the governor of the Boucle du Mouhoun region, Babo Pierre Bassinga, who officially opened the tests to Jury 8 located at the Lycée communal de Dédougou.

In the Boucle du Mouhoun region, there are 16,339 candidates, including 15,593 candidates for the first cycle study certificate (BEPC) who will compose in 59 juries and 746 candidates for the Professional aptitude certificate (CAP) and the Professional studies certificate (BEP) which will compose in four juries.

The distribution of juries by province gives twenty-one for Mouhoun, seventeen for Balé, nine for Kossi, six for Nayala and also six for Sourou.

The specific case of the province of Banwa is linked to the long period of cessation of courses in this province where the number of candidates is relatively small and relocated. The session mobilizes 63 presidents of juries, 63 vice-presidents of juries, 74 presidents of secondary centers, 252 secretaries of juries, 1059 supervisors, 1008 correctors and 108 health workers.

The Regional Director of post-primary and secondary education in Boucle du Mouhoun, Dr. Denis Vimboué reassured that arrangements have been made in concert with the regional authorities for the smooth running of the written tests of these school exams.

“Thanks to the efforts of the security managers, all the canteens reached the examination centers on time. As for internally displaced candidates, measures have been taken to ensure good composition conditions for them,” said Mr. Vimboué.

The governor of the Boucle du Mouhoun, Babo Pierre Bassinga encouraged the various actors to show rigor and probity in the work in order to allow a smooth running of the examination in the region. He invited the candidates to give the best of themselves in order to obtain their diploma.
