Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the terrorist attack on Abu Dhabi’s international airport

Greece condemns in the strongest terms the cowardly terrorist attack on civilians that took place in the United Arab Emirates yesterday.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
Greece always stands by the side of the government and the people of its strategic ally and close friend, the United Arab Emirates, recognizing the right to self-defense, as is explicitly stipulated in the United Nations Charter.
