Insecurity: Ban on transporting cattle out of Kossi province

After the provinces of Sourou and Nayala, the Governor of the Boucle du Mouhoun region, Babo Pierre Bassinga, signed an order on Tuesday, prohibiting the transport of livestock out of the province of the Kossi for security reasons.

The measure comes into effect as of March 22, 2023 and until further notice.

Anyone violating the provisions of the said decree, exposes himself to the seizure of the livestock, without prejudice to the penal sanctions provided for by the texts in force, warned Governor Bassinga.
