16 Students Defend Theses at Ouahigouya Higher Institute of Management

OUAHIGOUYA: Sixteen students at the Ouahigouya Higher Institute of Management (ISGO) successfully defended their theses, marking the culmination of their professional training courses. The defenses, which took place on Saturday, highlighted the students’ practical internships in banking institutions and management companies.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the event featured students from four professional training courses. Priscille Ou©draogo, a student in the Accounting-Control-Audit program, initiated the defenses with her thesis on financing procedures in Burkinabe banking institutions. Her work, focused on the International Business Bank Burkina, received a commendable score of 18 out of 20. Ou©draogo expressed gratitude for the support she received during her studies and announced plans to pursue a professional Master’s degree.



Following Ou©draogo, Abdoul Razzac Sawadogo, from the Marketing and Commercial Management stream, defended his thesis on marketing strategies for the Burkinabe National Hydrocarbons Company (SONABHY). He received a score of 16 out of 20, with feedback for further improvement. Sawadogo expressed satisfaction with his performance and hopes to secure employment contracts and continue his research.



ISGO, established in 2006 by ministerial decree, aims to train world-class managers in Africa. The institute has consistently produced qualified graduates contributing to development in public and private sectors in Burkina Faso and beyond.
