Truck Driver Arrested After Fatal Collision on B1 Road

OTJIWARONGO — Following a tragic head-on collision that resulted in the death of 25-year-old Francois Seibeb, the Namibian Police Force has arrested a 37-year-old truck driver on charges of culpable homicide.

According to The Namibia Press Agency, Otjozondjupa Regional Crime Investigations Coordinator, the accident occurred south of Otjiwarongo, with preliminary investigations indicating that the truck veered into the opposing lane, leading to the fatal crash. The driver, who sustained minor injuries, is set to appear in the Otjiwarongo Magistrate’s Court. This incident has prompted further police investigations as the community mourns the loss of a young life.
