Urban mutual bet: An education inspector pockets nearly 73 million CFA francs

Ouagadougou, March 15, 2023 (AIB) – The inspector of 1st degree education , Mahama Richard Ouédraogo pocketed Friday in Tenkodogo (East), 72 million 936 thousand 500 F CFA, by betting the sum of 6300 FCA, in 4+1 at the Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) on January 31, we learn in the state daily, Sidwaya.

According to the public newspaper, the 1st degree education inspector , Mahama Richard Ouédraogo, won the jackpot of the Burkinabè National Lottery (LONAB) with his 4+1 bet of the sum of 6300 FCFA, at Pari urban mutual (PMUB) of Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

The lucky winner who resides in Tenkodogo, capital of the Center-East region won the order and received on Friday, March 10, from the National Games of Chance, a check estimated at 72,936,500 FCFA.

Its representative, Adama Ouédraogo, translated all his joy and thanked the LONAB, for having allowed his brother to win this kitty.

The representative of the general manager of LONAB, moreover, director of the operating division, Léandre Kanekehi, argued that LONAB makes millionaires and contributes to the development of the country.

Mr. Kanekehi also advised the new millionaire to use his fortune well.

“The LONAB does not impose a structure on the winners but directs them to specialized agencies capable of supporting them in the use of the sums received”, he specified.

He also hoped that the example of the bettor Ouédraogo spreads throughout the Center-East region, in general and in the “city of Zoungranatenga”.

Léandre Kanekehi also congratulated the LONAB agents in the region who are showing resilience in the face of the security situation in the marketing of products.

The director of the operations center invited customers to always renew their trust in the structure that works for the development of the Burkinabe nation.
