Lifeless body found in Khomasdal

The lifeless body of a man believed to be in his 50s was discovered by a passerby in Khomasdal’s Shangai Street on Monday.

A crime report issued by the Namibian Police Force on Monday said the body was found by a passerby around 09h43, lying on its back with three wounds in the stomach suspected to have been inflicted by a sharp object.

The deceased’s black shoes, red t-shirt and a bag of empty tins were found on the scene.

‘The deceased who is yet to be identified is believed to be one of the people who collects waste material to sell at scraps outlets,’ the police said.

Police investigations continue.
