Police appeal for information to locate a missing boy (7) from Tshaulu

The police in Tshaulu are seeking community assistance in locating a seven-year-old boy, Rilise Munyai from Tshilaphala village who went missing on Saturday 27 May 2023 at around 14:30.

According to the reports, the child’s grandfather went with him to the local Luvuvhu River to collect his cattle. The elderly man apparently left the little boy next to the river and when he returned few minutes later, he was nowhere to be found.

The distraught grandfather tried to locate the boy but without success. He also discovered that his black tekkies and a cellphone that he had left with boy were missing.

The child is dark in complexion and was wearing red clothes.

Police are continuing with the search for the child and appeal to anyone with information that can assist to locate him to urgently contact the SAPS Tshaulu Detectives Commander Warrant Officer Zwiitani Laughter Munyai on 082 565 7270/ 064 756 8174/ 015 978 4001 or the nearest Police Station. They may also call Crime Stop 08600 10111 or share the information on MySAPSapp.
