Nouna: The PDS warns against speculation around fuel
The commune of Nouna experiences a shortage of fuel at the city’s gas stations on a recurring basis, leading to speculation around fuel, sometimes causing the price of a liter to rise to 1,250 FCFA and 2 250FCFA in places.
The refueling of service stations on Friday, September 1, 2023, brought relief to hard-hit populations.
The president of the special delegation of Nouna, Souleymane Tiono, after consultation with the managers, warned anyone who persists in this speculative activity.
In a press release, he also invited managers to cap the price at the pump.
The observation made by the AIB regarding this cap reveals that for Aloba type motorcycles and others, 1,500 FCFA fuel per person is served, 3,000 FCFA for tricycles and 5,000 FCFA for vehicles.
Souleymane Tiono at the same time invites citizens to behave responsibly.
