City of Hope Church in Kimberley Honors Security Cluster with Appreciation Service

Kimberley – The City of Hope Church in Kimberley conducted an appreciation service for the security cluster on Sunday, 12 November 2023. The event, themed “Amaze Jesus with Great Faith” and based on Luke 7: Verse 2-10, was attended by Northern Cape Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Policing, Major General Luntu Ngubelanga, along with senior management and members.

According to South African Police Service, During the service, Pastor Andre Venter offered prayers for the South African Police Service, South African National Defence Force, Correctional Services, Fire Department, and Private Security Services in the province. The prayers focused on protection and safety for these services as they execute their duties, especially during the festive season.

Pastor Venter also prayed for the communities in the Northern Cape, urging them to respect authority and recognize the critical role played by the police and other security clusters in maintaining safety and security. The service reflected the community’s appreciation and support for the efforts of the security cluster in safeguarding the public.
