Economic growth: Rwanda records the fastest in 2023

Rwanda ranks first among sub-Saharan African countries with the fastest economic growth in 2023, according to the World Bank’s Africa Pulse October report. Economic activity in this country strengthened in 2023, reaching growth of around 7%. Real GDP increased by 9.2% year-on-year during the first quarter of 2023, following an increase of 8.2% in 2022.
