Manga: The Tarwend-Sida Association organized a charity gala dinner in Manga on Saturday, during which it launched a fundraising campaign to support vulnerable children in the Nazinon region, through the mobilization of partners and people of goodwill.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was held under the theme "Hand in hand, let's support the dreams of the most disadvantaged." The fundraising and advocacy evening aimed to mobilize financial resources to improve living conditions and access to education for the most vulnerable children in the region.
Institutional actors, religious and traditional authorities, as well as economic operators, associated their image with this initiative to support this cause. All expressed their commitment to the underprivileged children of the Nazinon region.
The event drew public attention to the difficulties faced by many children, including poverty, dropping out of school, and lack of support. The organizers reiterated that this charitable action aims to unite goodwill around concrete, sustainable, and targeted actions in favor of the most disadvantaged people.
On this occasion, appeals were made to businesses, public figures, associations, and individuals to support child protection initiatives in the region. The High Commissioner of the Zoundw©ogo province, Julien Ou©draogo, stressed the need to transform compassion into a lasting commitment.
The president of the Tarwend-Sida Association, Aline Moulma, indicated that this initiative arose from a worrying observation. "Many children drop out of school and live in precarious conditions, without support. This vulnerability can be exploited by the enemies of the Republic for subversive purposes," she said.
Ms. Moulma emphasized that the theme of the evening highlights the importance of solidarity and collective commitment to vulnerable children. "Alone, we can help a child; together, we can transform lives," she stated. She also invited participants to show generosity by contributing according to their means to support the association's actions and to allow underprivileged children to realize their dreams.
For the event's patron, Kadiatou Koussoub©, a child's success benefits the entire society. She emphasized the need to make child protection and development a priority for sustainable development.
During the gala dinner, several participants praised this initiative and reaffirmed their willingness to support future actions in favor of underprivileged children. Auctions of handcrafted goods and fundraising drives were organized, and the funds raised will be used to support vulnerable children.
