Noumbiel: The Primary School Certificate (CEP) and entrance exams for sixth grade commenced this Tuesday in the Basic Education District (CEB) of Bind©, with 755 candidates present out of 781 registered. The official launch was held at the Bind© A examination center, where the Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) inaugurated the proceedings by opening the first envelope containing the essay topic.
According to Burkina Information Agency, statistics from the organizers revealed that 755 candidates participated in the exams, leaving 26 absent at the start of this 2026 session. The chairman of the jury, Mohamadi Nana, who is responsible for the operational management and supervision of the exams, reported that no major incidents occurred in the examination centers during the launch.
He assured that all organizational and security measures had been implemented to enable candidates to take the exam under optimal conditions. Educational authorities have urged candidates to maintain composure, discipline, and concentration throughout the exam period.
The exams are being conducted nationwide in a context of mobilization by educational stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of the end-of-year school exams.
