Zoundw©ogo: The Secretary General of the Gogo Town Hall, Karim Dao, urged candidates to avoid any form of cheating and to rely on their own abilities during the official launch of the written and oral examinations for the BEPC (Brevet dtudes du Premier Cycle) and the entrance exam for the second year of secondary school at the Gogo Departmental High School. A total of 438 candidates, including 308 girls and 130 boys, are taking the exams in the municipality.
According to Burkina Information Agency, before the start of the exams, the Secretary General and his delegation toured several rooms to encourage the candidates and raise their awareness of the importance of discipline and honesty during the exam. Mr. Dao particularly stressed the need to avoid any form of cheating and to have confidence in their own abilities.
"I have confidence in you and I ask you to avoid looking at what your neighbor is doing, because that is against the law. There is no guarantee that he knows better than you. Rely on yourselves and give your best," he advised the candidates, before wishing them good luck.
After the usual checks, the Secretary General opened the first envelope containing the French exam paper. Out of a total of 446 registered candidates, the jury recorded eight absences, divided between girls and boys.
The Secretary General commended the efforts of all those involved in organizing this 2026 session of the BEPC and the entrance exam for the second year of secondary school.
