Ouagadougou: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Nob©rorganized a school excellence day on Saturday to reward the best actors in education and celebrate the success rate of 93.72% recorded in the Primary School Certificate (CEP), 2026 session.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was held under the theme "Educational reforms and resilient practices: true labels of academic excellence" and brought together administrative and customary authorities, education partners, teachers, parents of students, and learners. The initiative aimed to promote a culture of excellence, recognize the performance of various actors in the education system, and strengthen the community's commitment to quality education in the CEB of Nob©r©.

During the ceremony, several students, teachers, and schools that achieved outstanding results during the 2025-2026 school year were recognized. The winning students received school kits and bicycles, while recognized teachers and schools received certificates of appreciation and awards of merit. The second-best teacher was awarded a laptop, and the third-best received a tablet. F©lix Ilboudo of Hope For Private Primary School achieved a 100% pass rate, earning the title of "super teacher" and a Yamaha Sirius RC motorcycle as a reward.

Prosper Ilboudo, head of the CEB of Nob©rand president of the organizing committee, praised the combined efforts of teachers, parents, partners, and stakeholders in achieving the 93.72% success rate. He encouraged students to persevere and urged teachers to maintain their commitment to keeping the CEB of Nob©ramong the best in the country. He also expressed gratitude to all partners who supported the event.

El Hadj Issouf Compaor©, the ceremony's sponsor, represented by the Kamb-Naaba of Nob©r©, acknowledged the mobilization of stakeholders and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting education initiatives in the municipality. Dominique Dipama, the provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education in Zoundw©ogo, congratulated the organizing committee and encouraged award winners to continue their efforts for education and development in Burkina Faso. Representing the president of the special delegation of the commune of Nob©r©, Aminata Bonkoungou, the first vice-president, welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed the community's support for educational promotion actions.
