Zondoma: The private high school Saint Henri de Osso in Gourcy hosted the traditional raising of the colors on Monday, June 2, 2025, under the presidency of the High Commissioner of the province of Zondoma, Aboubacar Sidiki Nab©.

According to Burkina Information Agency, at the end of a flag-raising ceremony carried out by elements of the national gendarmerie in the presence of the forces and students of the Saint Henri de Osso high school in Gourcy, High Commissioner Aboubacar Sidiki Nab© congratulated the education sector for their commitment to work which has made it possible to conduct the school year without hindrance so far.

“I wish you every success in your various exams,” he said, addressing the students and teachers who will begin the written and oral phases of the school exams tomorrow.

Referring to the security situation, he called on all segments of society to mobilize as one to support the FDS and VDP, who are fighting in difficult conditions to protect the population. He asked the population to respect safety instructions by organizing their fields at the start of the season. In the province, the raising of the colors instituted by the country’s authorities is held on a rotating basis in public and private structures in the commune of Gourcy.
