Zondoma/CEB of Bassi: Teachers Pledge to Meet the Challenge with Their New Chief

Zondoma: The new Head of the Bassi Basic Education District (CCEB), Amidou Younga, officially took office on Friday, November 28, 2025. He received the commitment of the staff to support him for the success of his mission at the head of the District.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Amidou Younga was officially installed in his position on Friday, November 28, 2025, as the head of the Bassi basic education district. The installation ceremony, presided over by the president of the special delegation of Bassi, Amidou Dembele, saw attendance from relatives, friends, colleagues, key figures in the community, as well as the provincial Director in charge of Education, Karim Sawadogo.

Before the installation of the new CCEB, the presiding officer paid tribute to the outgoing president, Yamnini Toula, acknowledging the challenges he met during his tenure, particularly in the context of a security crisis. Addressing the new president, he expressed his congratulations and his willingness to support him in his mission. Aware of the challenges ahead, Mr. Younga pledged to maintain continuity in the organization's management and the achievement of its assigned objectives.

To achieve this, the new CCEB can count on the support of all education stakeholders, particularly teachers who, through their representative, have pledged their support for the success of its mission and, consequently, the positive impact of the CEB. Mr. Toula is leaving his post as head of the Bassi CEB after more than 8 years of service.
