Zitenga: The Tond Tinga Yinga Movement concluded its 72 hours of patriotic actions in Zitenga, Bassitenga province, under the banner of civic engagement and support for the revolutionary dynamic driven by Captain Ibrahim Traore through the RPP. For three days, the people of Zitenga, especially the youth, took part in several activities: blood donation, learning the national anthem in the Moore language, sanitation operations in the town hall courtyard, and public lectures on revolutionary ideals.
According to Burkina Information Agency, well-known figures from the cultural and activist world, such as filmmaker Rasmane Ouedraogo, also known as Ladji, Alouna Traore, survivor of October 15, 1987, and activist Fortune Younga, led lectures on the themes of national liberation and African sovereignty. Speaker Fortune Younga praised the vision of Captain Ibrahim Traore, who, according to him, is working to regain Burkina Faso's full sovereignty. "The RPP allows us to understand the historical lies of imperialism and to assert our independence of mind. From now on, no foreign communication should influence our internal choices," he declared.
Rasmane Ouedraogo urged young people to draw on African values and adapt the education system to local realities to build an independent society. The president of the Tond Tinga Yinga Movement, Issaka Zoungrana, welcomed the popular mobilization and the patriotic spirit demonstrated throughout the 72 hours. According to him, these activities will contribute to strengthening revolutionary consciousness in Bassitenga.
By reaffirming their commitment to the RPP and their desire to support the national liberation process, the people of Zitenga intend to actively participate in building a free, sovereign, and prosperous Burkina Faso under the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traore.
